Antigrippine can be used for (pain) complaints such as:• Flu and colds• Headaches • Toothaches • Muscle and joint pain• Menstrual pain• Pain after a vaccinationThe active ingredients in Antigrippine TabletsThe active ingredients in Antigrippine Tablets are paracetamol, caffeine, and vitamin C (ascorbic acid). The combination of substances in these tablets is available without a prescription and has the following effect:Paracetamol The mechanism of action of paracetamol has not yet been fully elucidated. The effect appears to be based on the inhibition of an enzyme in the body involved in pain and fever.• Caffeine can enhance the effect of paracetamol.• Vitamin C can indirectly increase the body's resistance. Use A tablet can be taken in two different ways:1. Dissolve the tablet in a glass of water. Then stir well and drink immediately.2. Swallow the tablet whole with water.DosageAlways use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. The recommended dosage is:• Adults and children from 15 years of age: 2-4 tablets at a time, every 4 to 6 hours. Maximum 12 tablets per 24 hours.• Children between 12-15 years of age (41-55 kg): 2 tablets at a time, 4-6 times a day. Maximum 12 tablets per 24 hours.• Children between 9-12 years: 1 1/2 tablets at a time, every 4 to 6 hours. Maximum 9 tablets per 24 hours.• Children between 6-9 years: 1 tablet at a time, every 4 to 6 hours. Maximum of 6 tablets per 24 hours. Antigrippine tablets with paracetamol, caffeine, and vitamin C are not recommended for children under 6 years of age; use specific paracetamol products for children instead.
