The Lansinoh Natural Wave Small Bottle Teat is based on more than 50 years of research and is specially designed to stimulate your baby's peristaltic movement at the breast.
This is intended to prevent nipple confusion and support further oral development. Research has shown that babies' sucking consists of three important steps: latching, the peristaltic movement of the tongue (with which your baby makes wave movements with the tongue), and swallowing. It is very important that your baby is able to make the peristaltic tongue movement to promote the further development of the mouth and jaw. It has been clinically proven that the Lansinoh NaturalWave teat stimulates this natural drinking behavior.
