Prioderm Dimeticon Anti-Lice Lotion kills head lice and nits. The lotion contains no pesticides, works in 15 minutes, and is odorless and colorless. The lotion consists largely of dimethicone (more than 95%). This is a silicone that penetrates the respiratory organs of head lice and nits, causing them to suffocate. For the most effective treatment, the hair should be combed out daily for another two weeks. Preferably repeat the treatment after 9-10 days to break the life cycle of the head lice.
