This medicine contains flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines called 'non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs' (NSAIDs). These medicines have analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. This medicine is used for the short-term relief of throat complaints, such as sore throat and swelling in adults and children over 12 years of age. Contact your doctor if the symptoms do not improve within three days.How do you use Strepfen Lemon and Honey 8.75mg Lozenges?Use this medicine as directed in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, contact your GP or pharmacist.How to take a tablet?For adults and children aged 12 years and older:• Place one lozenge in your mouth and suck on it slowly• Always move the lozenge around in your mouth while sucking• The lozenges should start working within 30 minutes• Afterwards, take a lozenge every three to six hours if necessary• Do not take more than five lozenges per 24 hoursThese lozenges are intended for short-term use only. Use as few lozenges as possible for the shortest period necessary to relieve your symptoms.
