Voltaren Emulgel contains 1.16% diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Diclofenac acts as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent. Voltaren Emulgel (diclofenac diethylammonium) is a medicine. Do not use Voltaren during the last trimester of pregnancy.Preparation and useApply the gel 4 times a day to the affected area of your skin for up to three weeks. Gently rub a small amount of Voltaren Emulgel onto the painful area. The required amount varies depending on the size of the painful area. Typically, an amount the size of a cherry to a walnut is sufficient. When you rub in the gel, you may feel a slightly cooling effect.
